P4 Learning

We have been comparing and contrasting ‘The Cook Up’ from George’s Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl, with ‘Double, Double Toil and Trouble’ by William Shakespeare.  We used a key to identify and highlight repetition, onomatopoeia, alliteration and rhyming patterns.  Then we transferred what we had learned to create our own poetry using these literacy techniques.  Finally, we created a PowerPoint document in our Teams channel with a spooky background to present our poems.
