Primary 1

This week, Primary 1 have been exploring textiles. We have enjoyed using wool to create pom poms and practise weaving.

Within maths, we have begun learning about data handling. We counted out different materials to create block graphs. We have also been practising subtracting numbers within 10.

During story time this week, we read Anthony Browne’s ‘The Tunnel’. We then created our own tunnels with blocks and used our imagination to write stories about what might be on the other side of a tunnel.
